Welcome to the start of a new school year! You’ll need yet another brown paper bag, or you might consider getting a roll of brown kraft paper for your book wrapping needs (it’s much easier to cut and wrap, and it doesn’t tear along the grocery bag fold lines). Start thinking now about a question or topic you’d like to learn about this year: DVDs, microwaves, bioluminescence, whatever. We’ll try to find time to learn about the whys and wherefores of those topics, including the scientific and mathematical underpinnings of the questions.
